Lorenzo da Viterbo
Lorenzo da Viterbo (active 1462 al 1472) was an Italian painter, active mainly in Viterbo in an early-Renaissance style.
He is documented in Rome by 1462, and frescoed in 1472, the Mazzatosta Chapel in the Church of Santa Maria della Verita in Viterbo.[1] The frescoes were nearly destroyed during World War II, and have been paintstakingly restored.[2] The Academy of Fine Arts of Viterbo is named after the painter.
