Lorna Tan
Lorna Tan returned to Singapore Press Holdings in June 2015, as Invest editor at The SundayTimes and Senior correspondent at The Straits Times. Prior to that, she was senior vice president of corporate communications at property giant CapitaLand Limited. She joined the Group on 15 August 2011. Prior to that, she was a senior correspondent with The Straits Times and the Invest editor with The Sunday Times. She joined The Straits Times in 2000.[1] In 2006, she was the runner-up in the Excellence in Public Journalism category in a contest organised by Hong Kong-based Society of Publishers in Asia.[2] In 2007, she won the Financial Journalist of the Year award given by the Securities Investors Association of Singapore.[3] This was her third award from the association, having won the Financial Story of the Year award in 2005 and a Special Award in 2003. In 2004, Lorna also won an award from the Society of Publishers in Asia for excellence in business reporting.
