The Los Angeles Push are a team of the American Basketball Association set to begin play in 2007. The team is owned by Compton native Donye Mitchell [1] and coached by Otis Hailey, former coach of the ABA's Calgary Drillers and Dragones de Tijuana.[2] The Push play their home games at the Torodome, which is on the campus of California State University, Dominguez Hills in Carson.
The team was originally called the Pasadena Push and was going to play its home games in Pasadena, California, but moved to Los Angeles because of several "last-minute obstacles".[3]
