The Louisiana Highway 1 Bridge is a concrete trestle toll bridge in the U.S. state of Louisiana.[1] With a total length of 29,000 m or 95,000 ft, it is one of the longest bridges in the world. The bridge carries Louisiana Highway 1 over Bayou Lafourche and marsh in Louisiana. The bridge which opened in 2009, connects Golden Meadow, Louisiana with Port Fourchon, Louisiana.[2]
