Louros (Greek: Λούρος) is a town and a former municipality in the Preveza regional unit, Epirus, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Preveza, of which it is a municipal unit.[2] The seat of the municipality was the small town of Louros (pop. 2,044). The area of the municipal unit is 176.075 km², with a population of 5,270 people (2001 census). The town and municipal unit are named after the Louros river which flows just south of the town.
