Love[2] is the fourth studio album by San Francisco-based punk rock band, Flipper. The album was released over 16 years after their last studio album, American Grafishy, which was released in 1993. Love is the only Flipper studio album to date to feature former member Krist Novoselic — also former bassist of Nirvana — and recording sessions took place at Murky Slough Studios, Novoselic's property in Washington.[3]

The album has been referred to as an "evil twin"[4] to the accompanying live album, Fight, which was recorded live during the band's performances in Seattle, Washington and Portland, Oregon. Jack Endino recorded and produced both albums. Both albums were released on CD and digital download on May 19, 2009 and prior to the release, the album was also available for stream.

The cover art uses a font — available freely on the internet under the name "Crass" — extremely similar to the one Crass used on all of their releases.
