Love/Death/Travel is a box set by The Doors.
Contents
The set consists of three CDs and one DVD. Disc 1 contains the band's highest charted singles. Discs 2 and 3 contain tracks hand picked by the surviving Doors. The total amount—54 songs—is almost the entire studio output of the band; 62 songs were released while Morrison was in the band. The DVD contains live footage, three remixes by other artists plus three 5.1 mixes by Bruce Botnick. The 5.1 mixes are presented as samplings of the Perception box set.
The Artwork
The discs come in a plastic, slip-out book within a hard slipcase. The set also contains a specially created, hand-signed lithograph of Jim Morrison by Shepard Fairey, plus individual photos of the members photographed by Joel Brodsky in 1967.
Limited edition
The box set was released as an individually numbered limited edition of 5,000 copies. Half of these were shipped to the film, television and advertising industries.
