Lucas Glacier
Lucas Glacier (54°4′S 37°18′W / 54.067°S 37.300°WCoordinates: 54°4′S 37°18′W / 54.067°S 37.300°W) is a glacier flowing north into the Bay of Isles, South Georgia, close west of Luck Point. It was charted in 1912–13 by Robert Cushman Murphy, an American naturalist aboard the brig Daisy, who named it for Frederic Augustus Lucas, Director of the American Museum of Natural History at that time.[1]
