In 2015, he was cast as a regular character, Earl Grey, in the first season of the horror comedy Scream Queens on FOX.

Early and personal life

Laviscount grew up in Ribble Valley in Lancashire. He attended Ribblesdale High School in Clitheroe, where he was awarded 10 GCSEs, and was also a member of Carol Godby's theatre workshop in Bury.[1] His parents are of Trinidadian descent and he has two brothers, Louis and Jules.[2][3]

Acting career

At the age of 10, Laviscount appeared in an advertising campaign for Marks & Spencer.[4] He secured roles in programmes such as Clocking Off and Johnny and the Bomb before becoming a series regular in BBC One series Grange Hill.[2] Laviscount was then cast as religious swimmer Ben Richardson in Coronation Street. He appeared as Jonah Kirby, a school pupil, in the TV show Waterloo Road in 2011.[5][6] He later appeared in series 2 of Trollied.

It was announced on 22 February 2014 that Laviscount would be playing the lead role of Ennis Ross in Supernatural: Bloodlines, a spin-of to the US CW show Supernatural. On the show, he flirted with fellow housemates Amy Childs and Kerry Katona. He found himself torn between the attentions of Katona and Childs which culminated in "Bedgate" where he ended up sharing a bed with the latter after a drunken party.[10] He was dubbed 'Mumbles' by his fellow housemates and entertained viewers with his fondness for showing off his physique in the house gym.[11]

Music career

Laviscount signed with SK Records in January 2012. His debut single, "Dance With You", featuring US Hip-Hop artist MANN, was scheduled for an April 2012 release.[12] It was a commercial failure after failing to chart.
