Lucille Mendez (born January 16, 1993) is a Belizean singer and songwriter. She started her singing career alongside her older brother Luis "MC Blas" Mendez Jr. on the popular Belizean music search show "Duets" [1] in 2010. Since appearing on "Duets" she has performed all across the Cayo District in Western Belize, which included charity concerts for the elderly [2] and a music tribute to the "Father of the Nation" George Cadle Price.[3]
Early life
Lucille Mendez was born in San Ignacio, Belize and was raised in Benque Viejo del Carmen by her father Luis B. Mendez Sr. and mother Mirna Mendez, along with her brother Luis Jr. (MC Blas) and sister Lisbeth. Her passion for music began at a very early age. Lucille's first journey into music was in her hometown Church, where she sang in the choir. She attended Sacred Heart Junior College in San Ignacio.
