Luck Peak State Park is a state park in Ada County, Idaho, United States,[2] located around Lucky Peak Lake, created 61 years ago in 1955 by the construction of Lucky Peak Dam.[3]

Just east of Boise, the park has three units; its Discovery Park off of State Highway 21 is a roadside park with picnic tables, shelters, and opportunities for fishing in the Boise River. The nearby Sandy Point unit is at the base of the dam, and has a sandy beach with calm water for wading and swimming. At the northern end of the lake, the Spring Shores unit has two boat ramps and a marina.
