Luigi Maria Monti (1825–1900) was an Italian religious, the founder of the Congregation of the Sons of the Immaculate Conception. He was born on July 24, 1825 in Bovisio, near Milan.[1] Although he was not a priest, he was widely referred to as "Father" by the members of his congregation, which he founded to serve the sick and the poor.[1] He died on October 1, 1900 in Saronno.[2] He was beatified by Pope John Paul II on November 9, 2003.[1]
