Luis Fernández de Córdoba Portocarrero

Luis Fernández de Córdoba Portocarrero (Córdoba, February 1555 Seville, 1625) was a Spanish archbishop.

Biography

In 1602, Portocarrero was appointed to be the Bishop of Salamanca, Spain. In 1615, he was appointed the Bishop of Malaga, Spain. In 1622, hethen became the Archbishop of Santiago de Compostela, Spain. In 1624, he was appointed the Archbishop of Sevilla, Spain and held this role until his death the following year.
