Luis Fernando Copete Murillo (born February 12, 1989 in Itsmina, Chocó) is a Colombian-born Nicaraguan football player who last played for Puma Generaleña in the Primera División de Costa Rica.

Club career

Copete and compatriot Raúl Leguías joined Costa Rican side AS Puma for the 2015 Verano season.[1]

In early 2016, Copete went on trial with Kazakhstan Premier League side FC Shakhter Karagandy, but did not earn a contract.[2]

International career

Copete became a naturalized citizen of Nicaragua in 2014,[3] and received his first call-up to the Nicaragua national football team a year later.[4]
