Luis Roberto Mercedes Santana (born February 15, 1968, in San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic) was a Major League Baseball outfielder who played for the Baltimore Orioles and San Francisco Giants from 1991 to 1993.

He began his professional career in 1988 with the Bluefield Orioles.[1] Arguably his most successful minor league season was with the Class AA Hagerstown Suns in 1990. During that season, he led the Eastern League with a .334 batting average and was named to the Eastern League End of Season All-Star Team as an outfielder.

After his time in the major leagues, Mercedes played with the Leones de Yucatan and Olmecas de Tabasco of the Mexican League and the Calgary Cannons of the Pacific Coast League in 1995 and 1996.
