"Skank TV" Controversy
In April 2011, conservative pundit Tasha Kheiriddin wrote an opinion piece in the National Post critical of the attire of female news anchors on Sun TV News.[5] Savage replied on Twitter, "I am SO with @TashaKheiriddin on this, Skank TV such a turn off,"[6] followed by a link to Kheiriddin's piece. Savage later deleted the tweet and apologized.[7]
