Lunca Cernii de Jos (Hungarian: Alsónyiresfalva) is a commune in Hunedoara County, Romania. It is composed of eight villages: Ciumița (Csumicapuszta), Fântâna (Vádtelep), Gura Bordului, Lunca Cernii de Jos, Lunca Cernii de Sus (Felsőnyiresfalva), Meria (Kékesfalva), Negoiu (Nyegojlunka) and Valea Babii.
