Lunna, Belarus
Lunna or Lunno[1] is a town in the Grodno Region of Belarus.
History
Before 1938, 60% of the 2 522 inhabitants were jewish, around 300 families.[2] In June 1941, the German army occupied the village.[3] From October 1941 to November 1942, Jews were kept imprisoned in a ghetto. Many died in the ghetto and in mass executions perpetrated by an Einsatzgruppen.[4]
