Lutheran Association of Missionaries and Pilots

Lutheran Association of Missionaries and Pilots (LAMP) is a nonprofit organization located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It is a cross-cultural ministry sharing Jesus Christ with First Nations people in remote areas of Canada. The organization has been providing spiritual witness and nurture to communities in northern remote areas of Canada for over 38 years, through the ministry of missionary/pilots, and short and long-term volunteers-in-mission. LAMP presently works in 60 communities, teaching Vacation Bible School, youth and adult Bible study, and leading soccer camps in the summer months.

In May 2000, LAMP split when ministry between the Canada and U.S. offices dissolved. From then on, the name 'LAMP' is used exclusively by LAMP in Canada and is no longer used by the organization in the U.S. The U.S. organization is now called the Lutheran Association of Missionaries and Pilots U.S. They 'share Christ's Kingdom with Native North American Peoples for ministry to their own and to others.'

Both have connections with individual congregations in Canada and the U.S.
