Milagros Bernardo, better known by her screen name Luz Valdez (born September 9, 1940 in Olongapo, Philippines) is a Filipina actress. She got her screen name by LVN matriarch and the founder Narcisa de Leon. Narcisa de Leon thought that Luz Valdez's birth name Milagros Bernardo was too long and is hardly re-called that's why Narcisa de Leon had given her the name Luz.[1]
