Lý (Vietnamese surname)

(李) is a Vietnamese surname derived from the Chinese surname Li 李.

Origin

One of the first Lý in Vietnam in history were cited as Lý Ông Trọng or separation, Chem village, now part of Thuy Phuong commune, Tu Liem district of Hanoi, as the time of Hùng Vương and An Dương Vương after the Qin (China) beat Âu Lạc (Vietnam), he must begin to make the frequency of water against the Xiongnu.
