Lyle Moraine

Lyle Moraine (February 7, 1914 February 13, 1988) is best known for writing "Christmas Island" (1946), a song recorded by The Andrews Sisters, Leon Redbone, Jimmy Buffett, Bob Atcher, Bob Dylan, and Petty Booka among others. He was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and died in Glendale, California.
