Lysthaugen is a village in the municipality of Verdal in Nord-Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located on the southern side of the river Verdalselva, about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) east of the municipal center of Verdalsøra and about 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) southwest of Vuku. The 0.25-square-kilometre (62-acre) village has a population (2013) of 330. This is a population density of 1,320 inhabitants per square kilometre (3,400/sq mi).[1]
