M. Nawaz Khokhar

Haji Muhammad Nawaz Khokhar was a politician from Punjab, Pakistan. Nawaz Khokhar was elected the deputy speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan, Minister of Science and Technology.

Corruption

Nawaz Khokhar was found guilty of fraud in June 2004. He was sentenced to three years' imprisonment and fined 1,890,000 Rupees. In August 2006, the Lahore High Court's special appellate bench overturned the conviction, acquitting him of the charge.[1][2]
