Type of site nude photography

MetArt is the flagship site of the MetArt Network, a group of erotic websites that explore nudity and explicit sex through artistic photography and video. It is an artistic nude photography[2] website owned by HLP General Partners Incorporated of Santa Monica, California.[3] The site features erotic photographs of partially or completely nude women, and has been online since 1998 (originally as MostEroticTeens.com).[4] Its guiding philosophy is to create high quality, artistic erotica, using award-winning photographers and beautiful models.

As of November 2012, it was among the top 1500 most visited websites according to Alexa Internet.[5]

History

Company structure

MetArt is one of several websites either owned or maintained by the MetArt Network.[6] Its sister site SexArt features "Romantic Porn" made for women as well as men, focusing on eroticism, sensuality and artistry. The photographs and movies have big budgets and high-class styling. Movies are often shot in exotic locations and feature beautiful girls and intriguing storylines.

Acquisitions

In February 2014, MetArt announced the acquisition of the Domai.com[7] and goddessnudes.com[8] websites, archives, and media.[9]

Domai.com

Founded by Eolake Stobblehouse in 1997, Domai.com is one of the industry's first soft-core sites. The site contains only nude pictures of attractive women plus stories and articles about beauty, culture and nudity.[9]

In March 2013, MetArt began to manage VivThomas.com, and the site was acquired outright in May 2014. MetArt is committed to maintaining and surpassing VivThomas.com's award-winning Eurocentric erotica.

Operations

MetArt has stated that its focus is on high quality content and a belief in supporting women's causes, equal rights, and fair trade. From its mission statement, "Our models and photographers are not just a “resource” or “the talent”; they are partners and family, the face of our company."[6]

Management

Alex Haig and G.A. Wayne are co-owners of the MetArt Network.[9]
