MRSM FELDA or MJSC FELDA is a member school of a group of co-educational boarding schools known as MRSM (abbreviation of Malay: Maktab Rendah Sains MARA) or alternatively known as MARA Junior Science College.[1] It is located in Sungkai, Perak in Malaysia. The school is named Kampus Tun Abdul Razak due to Tun Abdul Razak being the finding father of FELDA. The school is built on a 19-acre area within Feldajaya Utara. The school is the second largest MRSM built in Malaysia. MRSM FELDA currently can accommodate up to 900 students from the age of 13 (Form 1) to 17 (Form 5). The college is the fifth MRSM built in Perak.

Operations Objective

1. Ensure that no cases of discipline prevailing in the whole year.

2. Participating in all matches in the Regional rankings and MJSC rankings with attaining at least the third place.

3. All students receive a 100% graduation PAFA (Penilaian Asas Fardu Ain) exam.

4. Obtain school average (GPS) 1.0 in PMR.

5. 40% of students gained PNG 3.5 and above in exams every semester.

6. All students succeeding in obtaining Graduation Certificate every year with TPNG 2.50 and above.

7. Obtain skilled staff through staff development programs at least twice a year.

8. Ensure all teachers able to use at least two of the ICT software in teaching and learning.

History

MARA Junior Science College FELDA is the 37th college established by the Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) and the Federal Land Development Authority (FELDA) from lingering idea of the Prime Minister YAB Dato' Sri Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak whom admired the college accomplishments in the SPM and PMR. Following the signing of the agreement, which was named the "Perjanjian Kerjasama Antara MARA Dan FELDA on the 30th of March, 2007. MJSC FELDA is the fifth MJSC built in Perak.

Located in the District of Trolak, Sungkai in Batang Padang, who boarded at the college FELDA Community College in North Feldajaya Sungkai officially began operations on 01 December 2007. The College is led by the Pioneering Principal, Mr. Saleh bin Osman, assisted by the Deputy Principal of Academic Affairs and Student Affairs Deputy Principal and 19 teachers and 16 employees whom are committed. Now the MJSC FELDA has a slight change in management as position of Deputy Principal of Curriculum was created. MJSC FELDA has received a total of 210 pilot group of students who are Form 1 students on 18 February 2008.

The new building is developed on a site measuring 86.06 acres in North Feldajaya became fully operational on January 04, 2010. Students from Form 1 are superimposed in some the college was called back to continue their studies at the MJSC FELDA. MJSC FELDA beautiful building finally was launched and it's named was improved with the addition of "Kampus Tun Abdul Razak" on July 7, "Hari Peneroka Kebangsaan" 2010 celebration by YAB Dato 'Seri Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak.

This group of students with enthusiasm face painful efforts to ensure the success of MARA and FELDA education agenda in an effort to elevate the Malay race through education to make it more powerful in the face of globalization. MJSC FELDA will move forward with the college slogan "Transformasi Menuju Kejuaraan"

MJSC FELDA has appeared in the Malay Drama "Aku Mahu Terbang". The scene shows that the main character stay at Aspura Block.

Alumni

The Alumni of this college, known as Alumni MRSM Felda KTAR or ALFA for short. The idea of establishing ALFA comes from the passion of a couple of MRSM FELDA’s SPM leavers of 2011 who didn’t want the bond created when they were in MRSM FELDA faded away once they all continue their studies in universities across the nation. It was first established on 1 October 2012 by 9 co-founders consisting of the first SPM Batch (Batch Soldiers) who later became the core members and committees. As of 14 August 2013, the Alumni is resgistered under the Malaysian Registrar of Society. The current President of ALFA is Mr. Rifhan Hafiz who was also the head of Student Representative Council of 2010/2011. [2]
