The MS Jewel of the Seas is a cruise ship belonging to Royal Caribbean's Radiance class. The ship was completed in the spring of 2004 with her maiden voyage in May of that year. As of May 2013, Jewel of the Seas sails 7-night cruises to the Southern Caribbean year-round out of San Juan, Puerto Rico.
In April 2016, Jewel of the Seas will complete a bow-to-stern renovation that will give guests new staterooms including a two-bedroom family suite, three new restaurants, a large poolside movie screen and tech upgrades, including improved broadband internet service.[3]
