Maaskantje is a village in the Dutch province North Brabant. The village is part of the municipality Sint-Michielsgestel, south east of 's-Hertogenbosch.
The village has about 1600 inhabitants. Maaskantje is linked together with the village Den Dungen. Before 1996 Maaskantje was not part of the municipality Den Dungen but part of Sint-Michielsgestel. In 1996 Den Dungen also became part of Sint-Michielsgestel
The Comedy Central sketch show New Kids that takes place in the village has brought much tourism there.[1] The village's signs were stolen by New Kids fans, and as a result the municipality decided not to replace them.[2]
