Maaveeran is a 1986 Tamil film directed by Rajasekhar. It was a remake of the 1985 superhit Hindi film Mard. Ambika appeared in a glamorous role alongside Rajinikanth. She first comes across as a rude princess, who later falls in love with him.
The film released to negative reviews and bombed at the box office.
