Machhagaon a small town in Jagatsinghpur district, Orissa, India. It is connected by state high-way from Cuttack.This place is about 22k.m from district headquarters of Jagatsinghpur is well connected by State highway. Machhagaon is named as because it is situated bank of river Devi and a business and fish centre.It has a very rich history and a hold an important geography .It has ruled by Dash dynasty for several years.
