Macholophus is a genus of birds in the tit family that is recognized by some authorities, such as the Handbook of the Birds of the World's Internet Bird Collection (2004–2007). It is often considered to be a subgenus of Parus).
Depending on authority, it contains either just the yellow tit, Macholophus holsti, or that species plus the Himalayan black-lored tit, Macholophus xanthogenys and the Indian black-lored tit, Macholophus aplonotus.
The yellow tit is endemic to Taiwan, and both black-lored tits are found on the Indian subcontinent.
