Life

Madleine Harris grew up in London and Shepton Mallet, Somerset.[1] When Harris was 13 she met the British actor Idris Elba in a pub. She told him how much she liked acting and Elba as actor. So Elba got Harris in touch with his agent. In 2012 Harris got her first professional acting job in Casualty. She played Izzy Forrester who caused a car accident. After this Harris could be seen in television programs like Me and Mrs Jones, and The White Queen.[2] In 2013 she played the 460 years old vampire Hetty in the TV series Being Human.[3] In 2014 she got a role in the British movie Paddington, beating more than 100 competitors for the role.[4] She stars in the movie alongside Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, Peter Capaldi, and Nicole Kidman. Harris plays Judy Brown, the daughter of the family that Paddington lives with.[5] As of 2014 Harris still goes to school and manages to combine her school work and her acting jobs.[2] From 2013 to 2015 she starred as Karen in the British sitcom Man Down.[6][7] Harris also likes other creative art. She enjoyed writing her own stories since she was very little.[8]
