Madison Cowan

Madison Cowan is a British-American chef, best known as the first ever Grand Champion of Food Network's Chopped.[1] He co-stars in BBC America’s travel series No Kitchen Required,[2] appeared as a judge on Food Network’s Extreme Chef and in cooking segments on NBC’s Today Show and CBS This Morning. In April 2012, he was victorious in Battle Kale on Food Network's Iron Chef America, with Amanda Freitag and Lance Nitahara serving as his sous chefs, defeating Iron Chef Jose Garces.[3]

Madison was awarded a four star rating from The Times as head chef of Ashbells in London’s West End and has established Madison Cowan LLC, a global culinary production company that oversees operations in licensing and consulting, cookery demonstration and television production. Madison currently resides in New York City. [4]
