Mae Nak (TV series)
Mae Nak (Thai: แม่นาค) is a Thai lakorn (television soap opera) which has been remade several times, the latest of which aired on Thailand's channel 7 in 2000. It starred Pachrapa Chaichua as Mae Nak and Pete Thongjeur as Tid Mak. This Lakorn is based on the famous Thai ghost story called 'Mae Nak Phrakhanong' that has been made into the Thai movie "Nang Nak" released in 1999, the years biggest success in Thai cinema.
Foreign Release
It also aired on two Cambodian channels in 2001 and became very popular in Cambodia. It is now on sale in Cambodia.[1]
