Overview
In January 2013,[5] Magnon\TBWA (previously known as Magnon Solutions)[6] was acquired by TBWA, and consequently became a part of the Fortune 200 Omnicom Group Inc. (NYSE: OMC). TBWA is an Omnicom company and the fifth-largest advertising corporation globally, with 307 offices in 99 countries and over 11,110 employees.
Magnon Solutions (now Magnon\TBWA) was founded by Vineet Bajpai[7] in 2000, as an interactive web design and digital agency catering to the domestic market in India. 2007 marked the establishment of Magnon\TBWA’s sister company, Magnon eg+ (formerly known as Magnon Interactive), part of eg+ Worldwide, for offshore web development and design services. The Magnon Group, including Magnon\TBWA and Magnon eg+, is one of the largest digital media agencies in India. Magnon\TBWA is a member of NASSCOM and Magnon eg+ is a member of the Electronics and Software Export Promotion Council of India (ESC).[8]
