Mahathi Vijay Prakash also known as V N Mahathi is a voice actor, model, singer, linguist from Mumbai who has dubbed for over 10000 ads in Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil and various other languages. She is the spouse of well known playback singer Vijay Prakash.
Personal life
Mahathi was born to Late Tangirala Raghu and Seshukumari. Her father Late Shri Tangirala Raghu worked for the Reserve Bank of India and was also an accomplished singer with numerous awards to his name and associations with well known cultural societies in Mumbai and abroad. He sang the Telugu lines “naswaramu nee swaramu” in the famous Mile sur meta tumhara, Discovery of India series and also sang for Kuchipudi dancer Mallika Sarabhai in Desh raag.

Early life
Mahathi is a commerce graduate and has a PG Diploma in Advertising and Public Relations (Mumbai University). She is a trained Bharatnatyam dancer and has learnt Carnatic classical music too. She is married to a well-known singer Vijay Prakash and has a daughter Kavya.

She has voiced for ad commercials in Telugu for innumerable products ranging from eatables, consumer durables, cosmetics, soaps, shampoos etc. till date. Her some of the popular ads are Kareena Kapoor Khan (Dish tv, head and shoulders), Kurkure for Juhi Chawla, Anushka Sharma (kara tissues), Vidya Balan (good knight) Bipasha Basu ( Clinic all clear, kinetic flyte), Priyanka Chopra for Sunsilk, Rani Mukherjee for Nestle munch and Titan raga, Shilpa Shetty (Don’t worry and pantene ads) Asin for (sure dry shield). She has worked for all the reputed Ad agencies like Ulka, Lintas, O&M, HTA, Mc Cann, Ambience ETC.

She is a singer.[1] She has sung for jingles like BSNL Hindustaan Palukutondi (Deepika padukone), Pepsi, Tanishq, Chandrika, Fair and Lovely etc. She took part in MAA TV `Padalani undi` (Telugu) in 2007 and was one of the finalists.
She also is the voice on the telephone (Telugu) for prestigious banks like the Axis Bank, ICICI bank and Tata sky digital services. Her rendition of Tata sky stories in Telugu became immensely popular. They can be heard by people who have Tata sky connection in their homes even today. She has modelled for commercials like Godrej rat kill, Seven up ad starring Allu Arjun, Vodafone, Comfort and OLX etc. She is also the Brand Anchor in Telugu for India first Life Insurance Company. She was conferred the title of Mrs. Andhra in 2001 by Andhra Mahasabha Mumbai
