Mahesar

Mahesar (Urdu: مہیسر ) is a Sindhi tribe of Samma origin in Sindh, Pakistan. Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai in his poetry has used the word of Mahesar which means Murshid or Kamil and guiding soul. This tribe has scattered population living in almost all districts of Sindh but in majority in Khairpur Mirs, Naushahro Feroze, Sukkur, Dadu and Larkana districts.In Naushahro Feroze district, Mahesar community is living near Darbello where a bunch of five villages exist for centuries. Besides these places, Mahesar Tribe also lived in all over Sindh, including Balochistan and Punjab provinces of Pakistan.

          The community members occupy their place in a variety of professions inside the country and abroad. This community is highly known for its much interest in the field of education, there would be no exaggeration if this community is titled as the educated community of Pakistan. In Pakistan, this community is often believed,considered and quoted as "Peaceful and Educated community".
          Currently, there is a considerable number of civil servants after qualifying competitive examinations ( CSS and PCS) belonging to this community are serving in different provincial and federal departments. Notables of them are:
         Apart from the above mentioned serving officers, a gallant son of a highly dignified social personality of Darbello Mahesar community, Late Mian Allah Dino Khan Mahesar, the man with unparalleled credentials, Major Sarfraz Ahmed Mahesar is a Army commissioned officer (Long Course/113) serving in Pakistan Army. Mian Allah Dino Khan Mahesar upbrought his sons so diligently that he is the only person to have credited with three sons serving in civil services through CSS ( Pakistan's topmost competitive examination) and one as an officer of high rank currently serving in Pakistan Army.
          After Demise of Mian Allah Dino Khan Mahesar in March 2012,Muhammad Ibrahim Mahesar(Eldest son of Late.Mian Allah Dino Khan Mahesar) is the present turbanned.He is an Ex.PCS Officer serving to Government of Sindh,Pakistan.He was born on April 21 1963 in Darbello.He was  intelligent and kind from that time,he kept his interest of Education above all acts.Though he was so poor but still continued to learn,Today he is an example of hardwork and self esteem for the people of Sindh.He guided his so many villagers to educate themselves as well as their children in order to gain success.While he was studying he went for scholarship.He completed M.E in Civils from NED-UET Karachi.He is known for his integrity and significance.Thus he is an great inspiration for Mahesar community all across the globe.

their indefatigable services for the Mahesar community, particular in Darbello and all over the Sindh in general, has set a better example of being kind, helpful and worked for the betterment of the community. they have provided many jobs to the people of the community in the Govt. and private sector in all over the country, enabling them to become the self-reliant and helping hand for their familiesIn the field of the most notable agriculturist person from the mahesar community is Mr. Gada Hussain Mahesar, from Village Kot Lal Bakhsh Mahesar, Near Larkana - District Qambar Shahdadkot. Mr. Gada Hussain Mahesar owns agriculture lands in his village Kot Lal Bakhsh Mahesar, and rice mills at Larkana, known as Kashtkar Rice Mills situated on Miro Khan Road. Mr. Gada Hussain Mahesar is very well-known all over the Sindh and has held various positions in Sindh Abadgar Board, Sindh Balochistan Rice Millers Association, and Larkana Chamber of Commerce.
