Mahmoud Hegazy
Mahmoud Ibrahim Mahmoud Hegazy () (born 1956) is an Egyptian Lieutenant General who was sworn in office as the Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces on 27 March 2014. Hegazy, who graduated from the Egyptian Military Academy in 1977, served as the Chief of the Egyptian Military intelligence before his appointment as Chief of Staff.[1] His daughter Dalia is married to Hassan, the son of Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.[2]
