Majhi people (Punjabi: ਮਾਝੀ, ماجھی), or Majhis, are a subgroup of Punjabi people native to the Majha. They linguistically speak the Majhi dialect of Punjabi. At present, Majhis inhabit Lahore and surrounding districts in Pakistan and the Amritsar and Gurdaspur districts in India.[1]
