Malaika Mihambo

Malaika Mihambo, 2013 World Championships.

Malaika Mihambo (born 3 February 1994) is a German long jumper.

She finished ninth at the 2011 World Youth Championships, then competed at the 2012 World Junior Championships and the 2013 World Championships without reaching the final.[1] She also won the gold medal at the 2013 European Junior Championships and finished fourth at the 2014 European Championships.Her mother is Tanzanian and her father German.

Her personal best jump is 6.90 metres, achieved in June 2014 in Braunschweig.[1] She represents the club LG Kurpfalz.
