Malavika Mohanan is an Indian film actress who made her debut in the Malayalam film industry with Pattam Pole opposite Dulquer Salmaan.[1]
Early life
Malavika Mohanan was born to the cinematographer K. U. Mohanan.
Career
She made her cinematic debut[2] in 2013 with Pattam Pole,[3] portraying the role of Riya a girl who grew up in a village in Alappuzha, but a bit modern. The movie was scripted by Girish Kumar and directed by renowned cinematographer Alagappan, which happened to be his directorial debut as well. Archana Kavi, Anoop Menon, Jayaprakash and Lalu Alex also played pivot roles in the movie. In her next venture titled Nirnayakam,[4] which narrated the tale of arrogance of those who are in power who never care about the agonies of the common man, she played the role of girlfriend of the lead Asif Ali.
