They have played over a thousand performances on three continents.[1] In 2010, Malignant Tumour's Earthshaker won the Anděl Award for Album of the Year in the category of Hard&Heavy. In 2008 album In Full Swing won the Břitva Czech music polls for album of the year,[2] also the band won Břitva Czech music polls in 2008 as live band of the year[3] and in 2010 music video Earthshaker won as music video of the year.[4]

History

The band was founded in Ostrava, Czech Republic, in the fall of 1991, by fifteen year old teenager Martin „Bilos“ Bílek and fourteen year old kid Roman Restel.[5]

1991 – 1992: noisecore

The early years of the band were in the name of total noisecore where everyone played every instrument, changing them often, just for fun from that noise. And to piss off the neighbours.

1992 – 1997: grindcore

Bilos, Roman, Cichoň (1995)

The drummer Libor Šmakal entered the band and the band heavily influenced by British Carcass starts to play grindcore with medical/pathological lyrics.[6] In this line-up they recorded their early demo tapes Cadaveric Incubator of Endo-Parasites (1993), Symphonies for Pathologist (1994) and Analyse of Pathological Conceptions (1995). After three years Libor was replaced by Michal „Cichoň“ Cichý and Roman was on his way out of the band too and he was replaced by Otto Beran. Band in that period released first split 7“ EP´s, Malignus Morbus with Decomposed (1995), Forensic Clinicism – The Sanguine Article split with Immured (1996), Sick Sinus Syndrome split with Mastic Scum (1996), Swarming of Virulency split with Ingrowing (1996) and compilation split 7“EP Hungry Urinary Urn with bands Negligent Collateral Collapse/C.S.S.O./Catasexual Urge Motivation. In 1996 band recording first split CD Eat the Flesh...and Vomica with Squash Bowels (1997). After recording Mihal „Cichoň“ Cichý left the band to focus on his own one called Cerebral Turbulency. A not long after him Otto is taking care of his own band Needful Things and he left band too.

1997 – 2001: mincecore

Kameň, Bilos, Marek (2000)

New drummer Marek „Švejk“ Pavlík entered band in 1997, Bilos took over the bass guitar and new guitarist Richard Chrobok was taken to the band. Lyrics changed from pathological topics to social aware ones when the band started to show the reverse side of humanity such as homophobia, non-equality, racism and world slavery system, heavily influenced by Belgian band Agathocles.[7] Band recorded demo tape Killing for Profit (1997), split 7“EP Rock Stars – Money Wars with Dead Infection (1998), and another split EP Murder for you to Eat with Vomito (1998), split CD Is this the Earth´s Last Century? with Alienation Mental (1998) and first full 7“EP called Equality!?(1998). At the end of 1998, drummer, Marek „Švejk“ Pavlík leaving the band and old lost son Michal „Cichoň“ Cichý got back into the band for some time again. Band released another split tape with Agathocles/Abortion/Din-Addict. Michal was soon replaced by another drummer Michal “Kameň“ Kaminsky and Richard also left the band in spring 2000 and new guitarist is Marek Marunič. Band recorded and released two split Ep´s Man made the End with Agathocles (2000) and Get to Attack with Unholy Grave (2000). After some disagreement with guitarist Marek, he left the band and Bilos took over guitar instrument again. Band took Petr „Dino“ Šarina as new bass player but he stays in the band very short time, basically only few shows and one european tour. After this tour band was in a bit of standstill.

2001 – 2003: crustcore

Bilos relocated from Czech republic to Netherlands, where he found other members to continue with the band. New members were two brothers Johan and Jelle Smit´s. Johan on drums and Jelle on bass and additional vocals. This line-up released the split EP Oegstgeest Grindcore with Intumescence (2002), double split EP In Oil We Trust with Critical Madness/ Szargyerek/ Anubis (2003) and finally first full-length album Dawn of the New Age(2003) on CD and LP format. After many great shows and tours Bilos return back home to Ostrava, Czech Republic in the middle of 2003.

2003 – present time: metal/crust/rock 'n' roll

In summer 2004 Martin“Marsel“ Ondejka vanished off the band after the Tour de South East. On new drummer stool was chosen David Ševčík, known as drummer of bands called Dysentry or Večírek. Band confirmed their crust´n´roll style on their second full-length album Burninhell (2005). This album was rated as third best album of the year in music awards called Břitva.

This split got again very good reviews and wound up as third best minialbum of the year in Břitva music awards in 2006. Summer of 2008 band´s new album In Full Swing was released on CD and LP. Music of the band is more and more compared to music of the mighty Motörhead, by press and fans but band is not that sure with this, but they are taking it as a compliment.[8] Album was rated very high by reviews[9] and was nominated as album of the year in czech music Anděl Award in category Hard&Heavy, and wound up at second spot, after winner První Hoře. In another czech music awards Břitva band won the album of the year. Two years later band recorded in german recording studio Stage One Studio next album called Earthshaker, first time with professional producer, Andy Classen.
