Malpolon is a genus of colubrid snakes, containing the following species:[1]
- Malpolon insignitus (Geoffroy Saint-Hilaire) – eastern Montpellier snake
- Malpolon monspessulanus (Reuss, 1834) – Montpellier snake
The false cobra or moila snake, Rhagerhis moilensis (Hermann, 1804), has been included in this genus, but is now placed in its own genus.[2]
