Mangrulpir is a city and a municipal council in Washim district in the Indian state of Maharashtra.

Demographics

As of 2001 India census,[2] Mangrulpir had a population of 27,686. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Mangrulpir has an average literacy rate of 72%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 78%, and female literacy is 66%. Education

There are two Senior colleges. They are V.N.Arts & Commerce College and Y.C.Arts & Science College. Qalandariya Urdu High School & Jr College is mangrulpir's first and very popular urdu college. There is an area which is known as Ram Singh Wadi in which people belonging to different professions stay.
