Nail technician

A Nail technician is a person whose occupation is to style and shape a persons nails. This is achieved using a combination of decorating nails with coloured varnish, transfers, gems or glitter. [1]

Basic treatments include, manicures and pedicures as well as cleaning and filing nails and applying false nails or extensions.

Nail technician paint designs onto nails with an airbrush, by hand or using a stencil.

A nail technician should always checking for any signs of skin or nail problems before treatment and can also give clients advice about looking after their nails, and recommend nail care products.[2]

The work itself tends to take place in a beauty salon although some nail technicians do work mobile[3] from peoples own homes.[4]

Training to become a nail technician involves doing a professional course that normal takes at least a year to complete. [5]

Moreover, the appearance of a Nail technician is very important. It must look nice, hygienic, and professional. If a Nail technician wants to achieve her tasks successfully, she will accomplish a number of assignments on any given days. For instance, she usually interacts with other members to provide a seamless customer experience. Accompanying with the highest standards of sanitation, her equipment must be always cleaned, and sanitized. A Nail technician keeps in touch with client regularly, so she usually updates and records clients' records. The other hand, she have to market and work to build the business smoothly and effectively.[6][7]
