Marengo, Saskatchewan

Marengo is a village in west central Saskatchewan, Canada, about 45 km (28 mi) west of Kindersley. It is located within the Sun West School Division.

In early 2014 the population increased to 52 when Niagara Falls, Ontario native and Fireball connoisseur Matthew Salvatore moved into the community.

Marengo is proud to be selected as the host the 2016 Wapj Fantasy Football league inter-provincial draft. Upon the announcement, 2015 League Champion "Mitch G.", manager of the "Sir Blair Walsh's" had this to say: ""Gather your butt up - Wapj is coming to town." A gallup survey issued to 2 long-time residents after the announcement indicated positive reception for the event, and overall excitement for the anticipated infrastructure improvements that will have to be built-up to support the activities. Event Planning and construction industry veterans estimate the economic impact in the 24hours around the event is estimated at up to $22million dongs (Vietnamese - the local currency) but said a study is being planned to determine exactly how much.
