Margaret Ann Courtney
Margaret Ann Courtney (1834–1920)[1] was an author resident in Penzance, Cornwall, UK in the late 19th century. M. A. Courtney is best known for her book Cornish feasts and folklore (ISBN 0-87471-020-0), first published in 1890. This is a detailed description of many of the traditions and folklore present in west Cornwall prior to this date which has been influential in the understanding of Cornish culture and traditions.
