Margaret Guerrero-DeLuca

Margaret Guerrero-DeLuca is a politician from Imlay City, Michigan. Mrs. Guerrero-DeLuca earned her bachelors degree from Oakland University, majoring in communications and minoring in history. She served as the mayor, and the city commissioner of Imlay City, at different times in her political career. While she was the city commissioner, she also sat on the planning commission, the DDA board, and Senior Citizen Board.[1] [2]

Career

Before she was elected to be the City Commissioner of Imlay City, she worked at Chrysler Financial as a senior manager. Later, she became the mayor of Imlay City. After being the mayor of Imlay City, she started working part time as a substitute teacher in Lapeer county.

State Electoral History

In 2014, Margaret Guerrero-DeLuca ran, unsuccessfully, for the 82nd District seat in the Michigan House of Representatives. She ran against Republican candidate Todd Courser. She beat out Immanuel Eickholdt in the Democratic Primary's for the nomination. [3]
