Maria Elena Camerin (born 21 March 1982 in Motta di Livenza) is a former professional tennis player from Italy.

Camerin won 3 doubles title on the WTA tour, as well as ten singles and nine doubles titles on the ITF tour in her career. On 11 October 2004, she reached her best singles ranking of world number 41. On 31 July 2006, she peaked at world number 33 in the doubles rankings.

Playing for Italy at the Fed Cup, Camerin has a win–loss 1–5.

Career

2001

İn July Camerin first WTA singles was runner up in Casablanca. She lost the final against Zsófia Gubacsi.

2006

in July Camerin won Cincinnati Masters doubles partnering Gisela Dulko. İn September Portorož at the Banka Koper Slovenia Open, where she lost the final against Tamira Paszek in straight sets.

Camerin withdrew from the Tashkent Open due to injury doubles final.
