Maria Strømme, (born 7 April 1970 in Lofoten) is a Norwegian physicist who lives and works in Sweden. She is a professor in nano-technology at Uppsala University since 2004.[1] When she started to work there she became Swedens youngest professor in a technic subject.[2] Strømme is a civil-engineer in technic physics, she did a thesis in physics in 1997 at the university.[3] And after that she got a scientist position at Naturvetenskapliga forskningsrådet. Between 2002 and 2007 she worked as an academy physician, she was elected by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences.
